A growing IT and telecommunications consultancy is looking for a Technical Consultant to join their growing team. In this role, you will be working with a range of clients, providing a range of consultancy services to them, from IT audits and short scoping exercises to longer implementation projects. You’ll have experience with a wide range of Windows Server and Desktop systems, and Exchange, Office 365, and networking. Experience with virtualised systems is essential (particularly VMware – Citrix is desirable too), and you’ll ideally have at least five years’ experience in a customer-facing role.
As this is a client-facing position, where you will be translating technical concepts into plain English, good communication skills are important.
Certification in VMware VCP, Citrix CCA, and Microsoft MSCE would be advantageous – but the company will provide training for these and other qualifications on a regular basis.
A full driving licence with no more than six points is essential; a company car will be provided. Regular travel will be a significant part of this role.
