|Title||Ruby on Rails Developer|
|Salary||£40,000 – 65,000|
Full Stack Engineer
We are working with a tech start-up who are revolutionising child care in London. They are building a system for parents to get easy access to quality childcare, building a marketplace that enables families to find and share high quality nannies.
About the role
As a full stack engineer, you’ll be designing and building tech to make complex matching problems easy. This solution gives families and nannies a solution that just works, and to supercharge our nanny recruitment and training processes.
You’ll be working in Ruby for most of the backend, with Rails, PostgreSQL and Redis making up most of our core product.
Modern frontend tooling, with ES6 and Tachyons.
You will be sending pull requests, code reviews in GitHub, and checking that CircleCI is correct before anything goes live.
You will be deploying to Heroku, with some ‘heavy lifting’ on AWS.
You will be working on short development cycles rather than long roadmap plans.
You’re a mid-level or experienced generalist or backend web developer who thrives in small, fast-moving engineering teams.
Not essential, but nice to have
